You are cordially invited to "attend" Wes and Cami's wedding day.
Cami received her endowment on Thursday, September 17th in the Denver Temple. Bob and I commented later that it was worth the entire trip just to be present for that beautiful experience.
We all met at the Denver Temple on Saturday, September 19th for the wedding. It felt like being in the Celestial Kingdom: meeting and greeting those you love. The sealing was beautiful as a new family was created.
Diane got to pin on Wes' boutonniere before they walked out of the temple as husband and wife to greet their family and friends.
Dallin and Spencer (and Emmy at first) enjoyed their responsibility as "train holders".
Rebecca and Julie were happy to pose with their brother.
And Cami "rose to the occasion" with her five brothers' help.
We hosted a luncheon at Romanos' Italian Restaurant. It was a delightful event which included a delicious dinner followed by a great program where we all got to know Wes and Cami better through the "toasting and roasting" from their siblings and parents.
The garden reception was beautiful. Cami had planned and prepared every detail.
The groom's cake was a pirate ship in honor of "International Talk Like a Pirate Day."
First dance as Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Ogden.
The bride's cake was an ice cream cake. Everyone gathered to watch what happened next.
Wes was cautioned not to spill on Cami's dress. He settled for her nose and chin. However, Cami had mischief in mind. Notice her hand behind her back.
Cami had a hand full of whipped cream ready to smear all over Wes' face. He took it in good humor and gave her a messy kiss and nuzzle.
Emmy looked very cute in her "beautiful green dress" made by her mommy. The chilly air necessitated a sweater.
They left "Happily Ever After" for their hotel, and the next day boarded a plane, then a cruise ship for a week-long honeymoon along the Mexican Riviera.
Oh my gosh this is so cute! I know I'm way way late but Congratulations!
