We had a family party this weekend in celebration of Garratt's birthday. Garratt LOVES his nephews and nieces, and they love all of the attention he gives them. We created "Water World", as Dallin called it. There was a slip 'n' slide and a castle pool.
This is called, "Spin Dry". They were lining up for a turn.
The weather was in the 70's, so they got a little cold from being wet and curled up under towels.
Then we got out the bubble guns. Henry wasn't sure which way to point it.
We also went to Garratt's apartment pool (the day before) and they enjoyed swimming and playing.
Of course, baby Abby was a main attraction. She had no shortage of waiting arms to hold her. . .
. . and kiss her.
Then came the marshmallow guns! They were the biggest hit of the weekend! We had a war with marshmallows everywhere. It was fun to watch Henry and Emmy eat the "ammo".
It is such fun to be part of a family and make wonderful memories together. The only thing that would have made it better would be to have Wes and Cami there, too. They are both making a huge sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy. Happy July 4th, everyone!

What a fun party! Dallin, Spencer, Henry, Emmy and Abby are very lucky to have such a super fun uncle. Happy Birthday Garratt and thank you Wes and Cami for the sacrifice you and so many others make to serve our country.
